TRA LE TUE BRACCIA – Il ricordo doloroso di un viaggio nel mediterraneo a bordo di un barcone. Il presente squallido di una vita da prostituta di strada. Una sera come tante qualcosa cambia e sotto le sembianze di quello che crede essere il suo bambino, Alika si allontana dal posto in cui si prostituiva per iniziare il lungo viaggio per tornare a casa.

IN YOUR ARMS – The painful memory of a trip to the Mediterranean aboard a barge. The bleak present of a life as a street prostitute. An evening something changes and under the guise of what she believes to be her child, Alika moves away from the place where she was prostituting to begin the long journey home.

L’autore

Ildo Brizi è nato a Genova l’11 gennaio 1979 si è laurea con lode in lettere e filosofia con una tesi su George A. Romero. Nel 2000 si diploma in regia presso la Scuola d’Arte Cinematografica di Genova. Con il corto Finisterre vince il premio come miglior film al Corto in Vista Festival. Scrive, dirige e produce il film Danse Macabre distribuito su Sky e on demand dalla 30 Holding e vince il premio come miglior film di genere al XIX Terra di Siena International Film Festival. Nel 2020 produce, con Carlo A. Martigli, l’episodio IX del film Ten Commandments of terror distribuito negli Stati Uniti.

Ildo Brizi was born in Genoa on January 11, 1979 and graduated with honors in letters and philosophy with a thesis on George A. Romero. In 2000 he graduated in directing at the School of Cinematographic Art in Genoa. With the short film Finisterre won the award for best film at the Corto in Vista Festival. He writes, directs and produces the film Danse Macabre distributed on Sky and on demand by 30 Holding and won the award for best genre film at the XIX Terra di Siena International Film Festival. In 2020 he produced, with Carlo A. Martigli, episode IX of the film Ten Commandments of terror released in the United States.
