Lloyd Lee Choi è uno scrittore/regista coreano-canadese che vive a Brooklyn. Il suo cortometraggio, SAME OLD (2022), è stato presentato in anteprima mondiale al 75° Festival di Cannes come parte della competizione principale, l’unico film statunitense ad essere accettato nella line-up di 9 film. È stato presentato in anteprima al Toronto International Film Festival (menzione speciale della giuria), al Melbourne International Film Festival, al New York Film Festival e al Seminci. SAME OLD ha anche vinto il 1° posto agli HBOmax APA Visionaries Awards 2022 e ha vinto il premio Best Short of Festival al Raindance Film Festival. Attualmente è in fase di sviluppo per il lungometraggio basato sul cortometraggio.

Lloyd Lee Choi is a Korean-Canadian writer/director living in Brooklyn. His short film, SAME OLD (2022), had its world premiere at the 75th Cannes Film Festival as part of the main competition, the only US film to be accepted in the line-up of 9 films. It has gone on to premiere at Toronto International Film Festival (Special Jury Mention), Melbourne International Film Festival, New York Film Festival, and Seminci. SAME OLD also won 1st place at the 2022 HBOmax APA Visionaries awards and won Best Short of Festival award at Raindance Film Festival. He is currently in development for the feature film that is based off the short.
