PIZZA! – Un giorno come un altro, Verona. Anna, 25 anni, studentessa universitaria, passa la sua giornata tra lo studio e il volontariato cattolico in una mensa per i poveri. La sera lavora come rider, un lavoretto come un altro, per arrotondare un po’. In una fabbrica della periferia, Bruno sta finendo il suo turno di metalmeccanico, anche oggi passato a subire le vessazioni del suo capo. Non vede l’ora di incontrarsi con i suoi amici, tutti dell’estrema destra militante, per uscire insieme, bere, divertirsi. Anche Carlo, immigrato di seconda generazione, e la sua ragazza Diana, studentessa universitaria e attivista politica, dopo una giornata a casa, decidono di uscire per una passeggiata in centro. I quattro si incontrano, loro malgrado, a Porta Leoni. Bruno e i suoi amici, ubriachi ed esaltati, cercano lo scontro con Carlo e Diana, sfoderando battute razziste sempre più aggressive, fino a quando Diana risponde alle provocazioni. È la scusa perfetta per alzare le mani: inizia una aggressione violenta, la cui unica spettatrice è Anna, che proprio in quel momento si trova a consegnare una pizza a pochi metri, bloccata tra la tentazione di chiamare aiuto e il rispondere all’incalzante voce dal citofono: “Chi è?”.

PIZZA! – A day like any other, Verona. Anna, 25, a university student, spends her day between studying and Catholic volunteering in a soup kitchen for the poor. In a factory on the outskirts, Bruno is finishing his shift as a metalworker, who has also today been subjected to the harassment of his boss. He can’t wait to meet with his friends, all from the militant far right, to go out together, drink, have fun. Carlo, a second generation immigrant, and his girlfriend Diana, a university student and political activist, also decide to go out for a walk downtown after a day at home. The four meet, despite themselves, at Porta Leoni. Bruno and his friends, drunk and excited, try to clash with Carlo and Diana, making more and more aggressive racist jokes, until Diana responds to the provocations. It is the perfect excuse to start the fight: a violent attack begins, whose only spectator is Anna, who just at that moment finds herself delivering a pizza a few meters away, stuck between the temptation to call for help and responding to the urgent voice. from the intercom: “Who is it?”.

Filippo Tommasoli è un fotografo e filmmaker veronese, laureato in lettere e in filosofia della fotografia. Nel 2016/17 consegue un master in Antropologia Visuale e Cinema Documentario e una masterclass in Visual storytelling in new media tenuta da ICP (International Center of Photography, New York), nella sede di Camera – Torino. Inizia a lavorare come fotografo e Filmmaker professionista nel 2007. Nel 2017 fonda Tommasoli Visual Factory, azienda specializzata in Visual storytelling. Parallelamente all’attività professionale, si dedica a progetti personali di carattere antropologico e sociale (in particolare, film documentari) e a lavori artistici in cui fa interagire il linguaggio della scrittura con quello fotografico e videografico, con mostre collettive e personali.

Filippo Tommasoli is a photographer and filmmaker from Verona, with a degree in literature and philosophy of photography. In 2016/17 he obtained a master in Visual Anthropology and Documentary Cinema and a masterclass in Visual storytelling in new media held by ICP (International Center of Photography, New York), in the Camera – Turin office. He began working as a professional photographer and filmmaker in 2007. In 2017 he founded Tommasoli Visual Factory, a company specializing in Visual storytelling. In parallel with his professional activity, he dedicates himself to personal anthropological and social projects (in particular, documentary films) and to artistic works in which he makes the language of writing interact with the photographic and videographic one, with collective and personal exhibitions.

Tommaso Giacomin è un filmmaker di origini veneziane, laureato in lettere e storia dell’arte a Padova. Ha iniziato a occuparsi di video e cinema parallelamente all’università, specializzandosi in regia e montaggio. Nel 2017 frequenta il Master in Fine Arts in Filmmaking di Ca’ Foscari ed inizia a lavorare presso SHADO, media agency del polo di innovazione trevigiano di H-FARM. Parallelamente porta avanti progetti personali di fotografia e audiovisivi per teatro, moda e musica.
