Aisling Byrne is an award-winning writer and director working in theatre, film, and TV. Her debut short Headspace was longlisted for an Oscar®, won the Grand Prix at the 67th Cork International Film Festival, and represented Ireland at the European Film Awards 2023. Her shorts Misread and Turnaround (a Screen Ireland Focus Short starring Claire Rushbrook) have screened widely on the festival circuit. She is the founder and Artistic Director of Run of the Mill and is currently developing her debut feature The Community.

Aisling Byrne è una sceneggiatrice e regista pluripremiata che lavora tra teatro, cinema e TV. Il suo corto d’esordio Headspace è stato selezionato per la longlist degli Oscar®, ha vinto il Grand Prix al 67° Cork International Film Festival e ha rappresentato l’Irlanda agli European Film Awards 2023. I suoi corti Misread e Turnaround (quest’ultimo prodotto da Screen Ireland e interpretato da Claire Rushbrook) hanno avuto un’ampia circuitazione festivaliera.
