Nelle acque del Mar Rosso, un pesce allegro e spensierato è costretto a intraprendere un viaggio per salvare le creature marine dal mostro senza anima, prima che uccida tutta la vita sott’acqua.

In the shallow waters of the Red Sea, a happy-go-lucky fish is forced to set out on a journey to save the sea creatures from the soulless monster before it kills all life underwater.

L’autrice

Mariam Khayat è una scrittrice e produttrice di animazioni con una laurea magistrale in Animazione e Arti Digitali presso l’Università della California del Sud. Recentemente ha prodotto i cortometraggi d’animazione “The Menace from Above” e “Saleeg”, entrambi vincitori del Daw’ Film Fund del Ministero della Cultura saudita.

I suoi precedenti cortometraggi d’animazione sono stati proiettati in diversi festival cinematografici in tutto il mondo, tra cui il Lebanese Independent Film Festival e il Silk Road International Film Festival in Irlanda, e hanno ricevuto l’Audience Choice Award al Mentor Arabia.

Mariam è co-fondatrice di Cinepoetics Pictures, uno studio di produzione cinematografica, dove attualmente si occupa della produzione di progetti di animazione. Quando non lavora ai film, Mariam pratica nuoto o immersioni.

Mariam Khayat, an animation writer and producer with an MFA in Animation and Digital Arts from the University of Southern California, has recently produced the animation shorts “The Menace from Above” and “Saleeg.” These works received the Daw’ Film Fund from the Saudi Ministry of Culture. Her previous animation shorts, showcased at global film festivals like the Lebanese Independent Film Festival and Silk Road International Film Festival in Ireland, earned her the Audience Choice Award at Mentor Arabia. As a co-founder of Cinepoetics Pictures, a film production studio, Mariam is actively involved in producing animation projects.
