Giò vive con suo fratello Francesco e due grandi passioni: i documentari sulle farfalle e i supereroi. Da quando il suo amico Marco ha inventato le tabelle colorate che scandiscono la sua giornata, per lui è tutto più sereno. Perché Giò è giovane, fa il designer ed è nello spettro autistico: nulla è più importante di Francesco e della sua routine, le due cose che danno forma al suo mondo. Quando Francesco scopre di avere pochi mesi di vita, Giò deve dare al suo mondo una forma nuova.

Gio lives with his brother Francesco and two great passions: documentaries about butterflies and superheroes. Since his friend Marco invented the colored charts that mark his day, everything is more serene for him. Because Gio is young, works as a designer, and is on the autism spectrum: nothing is more important than Francesco and his routine, the two things that shape his world. When Francesco discovers he has only a few months to live, Gio must give his world a new shape.

Gianni Aureli, regista, filmmaker e fotografo romano, ha un dottorato di ricerca in Cinema e Spettacolo Digitale, ha studiato sotto la guida di maestri come Giampiero Calasso e Massimiliano Bruno. Fondatore e partner di Webreak Srl, il suo primo film, “Aquile Randagie,” è uscito nel 2019 in oltre 250 sale italiane, con circa 140.000 spettatori e ha mantenuto la seconda posizione al box office per i primi tre giorni, preceduto solo da “C’era una volta a Hollywood”. Si occupa anche di cortometraggi, videoclip e spot. Il suo recente cortometraggio, “Notte di Marzo,” ha ricevuto numerosi premi nei festival nazionali e attualmente è in pre-produzione per il suo secondo lungometraggio, “La Sesta Volta,” prodotto da Blue Film e distribuito dall’Istituto Luce – Cinecittà.

A 41-year-old filmmaker and photographer from Rome, he holds a Ph.D. in Cinema and Digital Entertainment and has studied under mentors like Giampiero Calasso and Massimiliano Bruno. As the founder and partner of Webreak Srl, his debut film “Aquile Randagie” premiered in over 250 Italian theaters in 2019, attracting around 140,000 viewers. It held the second position at the box office for the first three days behind “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.” He is involved in short films, music videos, and commercials. His recent short film, “Notte di Marzo,” has garnered several awards at national festivals, and he is currently in pre-production for his second feature film, “La Sesta Volta,” produced by Blue Film and distributed by Istituto Luce – Cinecittà.
