Un palazzo occupato: 60 stanze, 70 famiglie, 50 bambini. Due registi: Valerio che ha 11 anni e Nina che ne ha 39. Due autori con in comune una grande sensibilità, si uniscono per documentare una realtà delicata e complessa, al fine di raccontare cosa significa vivere in occupazione. Le interviste agli abitanti, attraverso risposte precise, fatte di numeri, cercano di portare ordine nello spazio sconosciuto dell’occupazione mentre i tableau vivant ci mostrano cristallizzata la realtà di quei luoghi, lasciando a chi guarda il tempo per respirarli fino in fondo e farli propri. Un percorso immersivo che sa oscillare tra la fantasia del bambino e la realtà, e che sa portarci dentro questo mondo spesso distante e strumentalizzato in modo semplice e diretto, senza retorica.

A building in squatting: 60 rooms, 70 families, 50 children. Two directors: Valerio who is 9 years old and Nina who is 39. Two authors who share a great sensitivity come together to tell a delicate and complex reality, to tell what it means to live in squatting. There are interviews with the inhabitants who, through precise answers made up of numbers, try to bring order to the unknown space of the squatting and the “tableau vivants”, that show us the crystallized reality of those places, giving the viewer time to breathe them in deeply and make them their own. An immersive path that can oscillate between the child’s imagination and reality, and that can take us into this often distant and exploited world in a simple and direct way, without rhetoric.

Valerio Armati, 11 anni, vive a Tor Marancia, Roma, e frequenta la quarta elementare. Nel 2022 partecipa al Moscerine Film Festival con il cortometraggio “Buchi Neri” e vince i premi come Miglior Film e Miglior Idea Originale.

Valerio Armati, 11 years old, lives in Tor Marancia, Rome, and attends the fourth grade. In 2022 he participated at the Moscerine Film Festival with the short film “Buchi Neri” and won the awards for Best Film and Best Original Idea.

Nina Baratta

Nina Baratta inizia sin da giovanissima, fin dai suoi 14 anni, a realizzare documentari e cortometraggi.
Continua il suo percorso artistico realizzando documentari e reportage su tematiche sociali, approfondendo in particolare la figura della donna e della maternità.
Nel 2020 Fonda il collettivo “Tutte a casa” con 16 donne professioniste del mondo spettacolo, con cui realizza il film documentario “Tutte a casa – memorie digitali da un mondo sospeso” andato in onda a marzo 2021 su La7 e La7d. Nel 2022 Realizza il Moscerine Film Festival, festival cinematografico realizzato e dedicato ai bambini di 0/12 anni. Nel 2022 Fonda la società di produzione cinematografica “Tadàn Produzioni”.

Nina Baratta began making documentaries and short films at a very young age, starting at just 14 years old. She continued her artistic journey by creating documentaries and reports on social issues, with a particular focus on women and motherhood. In 2020, she founded the collective “Tutte a casa” with 16 female professionals from the entertainment industry, through which she produced the documentary film Tutte a casa – Digital Memories from a Suspended World, which aired in March 2021 on La7 and La7d. In 2022, she launched the Moscerine Film Festival, a film festival created for children aged 0 to 12. That same year, she founded the film production company “Tadàn Produzioni.”
