Ilayda Iseri, una regista e compositrice di 20 anni proveniente dalla Turchia. Ha ottenuto riconoscimenti per i suoi cortometraggi documentari “Kozan” e “The Fountain”, presentati in prestigiosi festival e ricevendo riconoscimenti internazionali. Con il suo primo cortometraggio di finzione “Game, Interrupted”, è diventata la regista turca più giovane a ottenere finanziamenti da enti governativi, vincendo premi e debuttando a livello mondiale. Attualmente studia filosofia e fisica presso l’Università di Bogazici, e contemporaneamente ricopre il ruolo di assistente regista per il vincitore del Sundance Tolga Karacelik.
Ilayda Iseri, a 20-year-old director and composer from Turkey, has gained acclaim for her short documentaries “Kozan” and “The Fountain,” showcased at esteemed festivals and earning international recognition. With her debut fiction short film “Game, Interrupted,” she became the youngest Turkish director to secure funding from governmental bodies, winning awards and premiering globally. Currently studying philosophy and physics at Bogazici University, Ilayda also serves as the assistant director to Sundance winner Tolga Karacelik.
