Chiara è una ventenne affetta dalla sindrome di Tourette ed è in cura presso un centro di terapia cognitivo comportamentale nella speranza di riuscire a dominare i suoi tic e le sue frasi oscene pronunciate rigorosamente in lingua inglese. Luca ha diciannove anni e da un anno gli è stata diagnosticata la stessa oscura malattia, che si palesa soprattutto con un’irrefrenabile necessità di mettere le mani a terra. Un giorno, nella sala d’attesa del centro, si incontrano per la prima volta. Inizia a poco a poco una conoscenza che fa scoprire loro barlumi inattesi di felicità, nell’oscura malattia che li tiene nel buio del loro futuro. 

Chiara’s twenty years old and suffers from Tourette’s syndrome. She is undergoing treatment at a cognitive-behavioral therapy center, in the hope of being able to control her tics and her obscene phrases, strictly spoken in English. Luca, on the other hand, is nineteen years old and he suffers from the same obscure disease. He ‘s a uncontrolled need to put his hands on the ground. One day, in the waiting room of the center, they meet each other for the first time and, from then , they never left each other again. Little by little, their knowledge matures into a sentimental relationship, which makes them discover unexpected glimpses of happiness, in the obscure disease that keeps them in the dark about their future.

Paolo Cipolletta, nato a Napoli nel 1978, è un regista, sceneggiatore, giornalista pubblicista ed esperto di comunicazione. Ha pubblicato il suo primo soggetto Tre Mesi nell’antologia Rosso Perfetto Nero Perfetto. Ha scritto le sceneggiature de La Gatta Mammona, Uocchie c’arragiunate e del lungometraggio Fino ad essere felici, distribuito nei cinema e su Amazon Prime Video. Nel 2022 ha pubblicato il suo primo romanzo Sulle tue ossa, tradotto in inglese e portoghese. Tra le sue regie, i cortometraggi La Gatta Mammona e Uocchie c’arragiunate.

Paolo Cipolletta, born in Naples in 1978, is a director, screenwriter, journalist, and communication expert. He published his first screenplay, Tre Mesi, in the anthology Rosso Perfetto Nero Perfetto. He wrote the scripts for La Gatta Mammona, Uocchie c’arragiunate, and the feature film Fino ad essere felici, which was released in cinemas and later on Amazon Prime Video. In 2022, he published his first novel, Sulle tue ossa, translated into English and Portuguese. Among his directorial works are the short films La Gatta Mammona and Uocchie c’arragiunate.
