L’autore

Lam Can-zhao è un filmmaker cinese nato nel 1994. Ha esordito alla regia all’età di 20 anni con The Dog, un lungometraggio a basso budget che lo ha portato alla ribalta. Nel 2023 ha prodotto, scritto e montato il cortometraggio A Bright Sunny Day, selezionato per LA CINEF al 76° Festival di Cannes. Nel 2024, il suo cortometraggio A Summer’s End Poem, per il quale ha ricoperto i ruoli di scrittore, regista, produttore e montatore, ha vinto il premio per il miglior cortometraggio nella competizione Kplus della 74a Berlinale.

Lam Can-zhao, a Chinese filmmaker born in 1994, made his directorial debut at the age of 20 with “The Dog,” a low-budget feature film that brought him into the spotlight. In 2023, he produced, wrote, and edited the short film “A Bright Sunny Day,” which was selected for LA CINEF at the 76th Cannes Film Festival. In 2024, his short film “A Summer’s End Poem,” for which he served as writer, director, producer, and editor, won Best Short Film at the 74th Berlinale Generation Kplus competition.
